So Fred-what was it like to be on the winning boat this year? By the way I love your book-just wish it was longer in length.
The EAGLE lost to Virginia last year, rounding the last mark and only beating her by 28sec.this year in the 25th Gloucester Schooner Race and being aboard the only original Gloucester fishman still sailing it felt pretty good. Were you on one of the boat if so which one ?

If I had been on any of them, it would have been the Eagle. I've sailed with John since '94 and I'll be aboard in a little over 2 weeks.
